Many members have stated that although they signed up to volunteer, they were never called to help.
The solution to this issue is the creation of the new volunteer position of "Volunteer Coordinator" who is the chairman of the new "Volunteer Coordination Committee."
The Volunteer Coordination Committee is a central point of contact for volunteers and those who need volunteers.
Committees and other functions that need volunteers may contact the Volunteer Coordinator and advise the coordinator of the date, time, length of job, and how many are needed.
Volunteers may contact the Volunteer Coordinator and specify what type of activities they would like to volunteer for and when and for how long they are available.
This nexus will increase volunteerism in our Club and help all members experience our most valuable asset: People!
