Permissive Tow Program

If you own a vehicle that you no longer want, you can have the vehicle removed without any paperwork or charge to you through the Sheriff's Office Permissive Tow Program.

To qualify for free removal of your vehicle, you must:

1. Be the owner of the vehicle or live at the address where the unwanted vehicle is stored.

2. You must present identification.

3. You must sign a Permissive Form requesting removal and granting the respective tow company permission to enter your property unannounced and at their leisure for the purpose of removing the unwanted vehicle.

4. The vehicle must be easily accessible, free of junk and trash or other debris.
